So, here’s the thing. I didn’t write “Blooming in Enough” on
purpose, meaning, I had no intention on this book coming together the way it
did. Most of the poems as well as some of the chapters came from my personal
journal so not only is this my work of art but some of it was my life. Emphasis on was.
Initially, I was writing an entirely
different story but it turned into this and I believe it’s for divine
reasoning. I know far too well what it feels like to lose love for yourself
while trying to love someone else. Luckily, I also know what it feels like to
be able to pull myself out of toxic situations from people and habits that
tried to convince me that I wasn’t beautiful, strong, or worthy be loved
properly. While going over some of my old writings I was able to see how far
I’ve come and I wanted to share it. It’s a beautiful feeling to be restored and
there are so many young girls and women that need to be restored. Of course that doesn’t
happen overnight, weeks, or even years but it does happen.
Blooming In Enough, is a lot of our stories. If it’s not
yours, than I hope you’re at least entertained. If it is your story, sis, I
pray you’re awakened and if it was your story once upon a time then pass on
your healing.

Blooming in enough opened my eyes to reality. As a women the first thing we should learn is self love! We settle for less than we deserve at times just to feel “accepted”, or “appreciated”... but what’s misunderstood is nobody knows you better than you and the things that typically hurts us are the things we allow to hurt us. If you haven’t already, you should take some time and read Blooming in Enough, you won’t regret it!
ReplyDeleteBlooming in Enough.. no exaggeration , has been one of the best books I have read thus far in 2018 ! This book helped me open my eyes to A LOT of different things such as , self-love, letting go , knowing your worth , and most importantly being YOURSELF. I would recommend this book to anyone , whether you are a male , female , young adult, full adult, blue , purple or green this book is for you. I would give this book a 10/10 ! Looking forward to more good reads from Krystal!!

This is such an amazing read. I recommend this book for anyone whether they are going through a breakup or not. This book celebrates women,their strength/weaknesses, and what self love really is. Blooming in enough embodies girl power. It contains the level of realness that we reserve for ourselves and our most trusted sisters! It is actually the first book Ive read that tackles intimate emotions that go through a womans mind when she starts fresh! Blooming In enough is definitely a must read!
ReplyDeleteInsightful, challenging, thought provoking, and authentic. These are a few of the words that can be used to describe Blooming in Enough. This book was captivating, descriptive and a real page turner. I mean it was a reflection of some of the relationships that I have been in, in my life. So this book had me revisit some places I have learned to leave behind. But it blessed me to see how far I have come. For a first book by this budding author Krystal, this was a phenomenal book. I pray that more women read this book, reflect on their current relationship status or past relationships. I pray that they see how far they have grown or what they can come out of and truly walk into what they are deserving of. We are all planted somewhere and blooming is a process. I love this book and I can't wait to read more of Kry's work!
